At what point does a bold, outspoken woman go from being appealing to "a bit much."

A New Live Comedy Show
by Stacy Dymalski

A BIT MUCH is a solo comedy that explores the tipping point at which a bold, outspoken woman goes from being appealing to A BIT MUCH. Written and performed by standup comic Stacy Dymalski, directed by and developed with Jessica Lynn Johnson, and produced by Megan Ford Miller, A BIT MUCH makes its world premiere in the largest solo theater festival on the west coast, White Fire's Solofest 2019.

After years of failed romantic relationships (including a divorce), Stacy is ready to admit that the common denominator in all these disasters is Stacy. Shortly after men get to know her they feel compelled to...move on, because after a while they find her to be just a bit much. She's kind of like Las Vegas; if they stick around long enough all they want to do is leave. With both sides of Stacy's psyche weighing in, she's left to figure out what men want when it comes to strong, independent women who unintentionally do intimidating things like buy their own homes or finish the New York Times crossword puzzle in one sitting.

A BIT MUCH is a LOL funny, insightful, journey that illustrates how women can comfortably step into their own brand of strength and femininity without compromise, while still attracting and maintaining the perfect relationship. Spoiler alert: its harder than it looks, but not impossible.

Megan Ford-Miller

Megan Ford-Miller, producer

Megan Ford-Miller, producer

Megan Ford-Miller (producer/art director) considers herself an artist above all else. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Megan attended the first and largest art school of its kind in the U.S. (focusing completely on all arts) from elementary through high school. She had her first professional IMDB credit (as an actor) on ABC’s Young People’s Special at the age of 12, and since then has been in countless productions, performing in television and commercials, as well as featured in print modeling.

As an adult, Megan went in a different direction artistically, focusing on mixed media and photography, until her son, Reid Miller, decided he wanted to get serious about his acting career. Since then she has been an integral part of his management team, using her vast experience in the entertainment industry and artistic community to help Reid become the established actor he is today.

By working with Reid, Megan circled back to the entertainment industry in which she started and found her niche as a producer and production designer in both live theatre and film. Her most recent theatre project includes producer and production designer of comedian Stacy Dymalski's 2018 Hollywood Fringe show The Other Side of the Razor Ribbon, which won a Producers Encore Award. Megan is slated to produce three more theater productions in 2019.

In the world of film, Megan produced and designed the 2018 short film, FLIKKER, which has won multiple awards (and counting), including the Stella Adler Excellence in Film Award at the International Action On Film Festival in Las Vegas.  She is also currently producing a series for television slated for release in 2019.

As an art director and designer, Megan uses mixed media art and photography to create sets for the small stage and screen, while focusing on the big picture and overall message of the story. She’s known for taking what may be just a good idea and turning it into a living breathing reality from concept to finish.

Megan believes as an artist you must always be reinventing yourself, learning and doing new things. Otherwise you loose your creativity and run the risk of becoming irrelevant. She lives by the sentiment of her favorite quote; "I am always doing what I cannot do yet, in order to learn how to do it” ~ Vincent Van Gogh
