Stacy Dymalski brings the story of a prisoner to life. Over the course of snail mailing manuscripts, heavily monitored emails (by the federal prison systems), and two 15-minute phone calls, the stories trapped behind bars slowly take shape over two years, as Stacy works with federal prison inmate, David Charlton Taylor, to bring his book to life. The outcome is his autobiographical novel JACUMBA CONNECTION.

Told with humor and poignancy, Stacy’s TED Talk, “Prison: A Startling Path to Creativity” chronicles the journey of developing an important story that, given our current political climate, needs to be heard by everyone.
